Trips and Visits
School Visits
A variety of trips are planned for the children at Barrington to complement the work covered in the classroom.
These trips are a valuable way of building on the curriculum by offering the children the opportunity to study places and objects at first hand. We rely on contributions from parents for these to go ahead.
For details of all school visits please see the curriculum overviews under 'Curriculum, Overviews' in the drop down menu.
School Journeys
Children in Key Stage 2 are given the opportunity to participate in a residential school journey which gives the children an opportunity to try different activities that cannot be provided within school.
We offer the children in Year 6 the opportunity to visit an activity centre for a week break.
It may be possible for families claiming free school meals to apply for some financial assistance with the cost of class visits and school journeys. Please speak to the school office for more information.
