Digital Leaders

Digital Leaders are children with a passion for technology who want to share their knowledge with others and promote the use of all things digital throughout the school.

Being a Digital Leader is a fantastic opportunity to take on responsibility, learn new skills, develop and demonstrate leadership skills and be a real help for busy teachers.

What can they do?

Digital leaders at Barrington play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape within our school community.  These enthusiastic and tech-savvy students take on various responsibilities to support both their peers and teachers  in navigating the digital world.  Here are some key aspects of their role:

Tech Support and Guidance: Digital leaders are the go-to experts for their classmates and teachers when it comes to using digital tools and platforms.  They provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and offer guidance in utilising technology effectively and safely.

Digital Citizenship Advocates: Our Digital Leaders actively promote responsible and ethical behaviour online.  They contribute to create a respectful and inclusive online environment.

Peer Mentoring: Digital leaders share their knowledge and inspire a passion for technology among their fellow students.

Communiy Engagement: Beyond the classroom, Digital Leaders engage with the wider school community.  They organise tech-themed events/competitions to showcase the exciting possiblities technology brings to education.
