As a parent, you are automatically a member of the Friends of Barrington Association (F.O.B.A.). The F.O.B.A. committee organises fund raising activities to support the school and pay for additional resources. They are a dedicated group who are always looking for new recruits to help out with the many and varied activities that take place during the school year. F.O.B.A. have meetings throughout the year and all parents are welcome to attend.

Children are invited to bring in £1 and create a handmade gift for someone special.
FOBA dress down day in your PJs - Friday 20th June
No payment is required for this event but we are asking for everyone to make donations for our adult bottle and kids sweet tombola stalls which will be held at the Garden Party.

What are we raising money for?
For 2020 we are fundraising for children's Chrome Books, digital camaras for each class, microphones for performances and more books for classrooms.
In 2019 we paid for new books for the school and also a projector for the school hall.
In 2018 we raised money to pay for the netting on our climbing frame in the school playground.
In 2016 FOBA raised the money to resurface the front trim trail play area and install some new toadstool seating.
Nearly new / Pre-loved uniform
FOBA have taken over the coordinating and selling of used uniform from the school. This can be purchased from Karen Butterworth at No. 2 Barrington Road.
We are also holding a monthly uniform sale after school in the spare classroom, this will make uniform more accessible for parents. The dates are in the flier below.
To make an enquiry or purchase please email fobacommittee@gmail.com with the items and sizes you require and they will check their stock. If in stock a collection time can be arranged with you.
All items will be priced at £1 each.
If you have any school uniform you would like to donate, please feel free to drop it to the address above or hand to a FOBA committee member. All items have and/or will be washed prior to collection.
