Year 3

YEAR 3

Welcome to Year 3

Our teacher is Mrs Green and our teaching assistant is Mrs Wright.  On a Wednesday morning, we have Mrs Ashley teaching us computing and taking us swimming.  Mr Clarkson sometimes teaches us too.

Our Class Charter

We want our school and classroom to be a fair and happy place where we can learn and have fun together.

So we will try to:

    • Listen carefully to all adults and to each other.
    • Be kind, friendly and respectful to one another.
    • Know that it is alright to make a mistake.
    • Keep on working even when we find something difficult.
    • Help people when they are hurt or sad and make sure that nobody feels left out.
    • Share our school equipment and look after it sensibly.
    • Ask permission before we leave the classroom.
    • Work together to learn and to have fun.

As we are a Rights Respecting School, our charter is linked to these articles:

Article 12: respect for children’s views

    Article 23:  children with disabilities

    Article 28: access to education

    Article 29: aims of education

Article 31: rest, play, culture, arts

If you would like to know more about what we are learning, you can read about it on the curriculum page or on our class newsletter.
